Multi site MS cluster monitoring

We just built a Win2008 exchange 2007 multi site cluster. We are not using spanned vlans, thus there are two cluster IPs with one matching each site. Obviously that causes a problem in that an object in HPSIM (the cluster name object) is actually changing IPs and normally will appear unreachable until a discovery is run during failover.

Anybody have luck monitoring a Windows 2008 multi site cluster and how would you handle such a situation?
