Obtaining serial numbers from desktop monitor

I am running HPSIM 5.0 how do I get the serial numbers from the users system on the network

You can get it by using HP client manager
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/im/client_mgr.html
It is not easy task: you need to install Altiris Notification server and Altiris agents on clients.

Another option - use Insight Management Agent for Clients
