Old Server-Certificate to new HP SIM
Because my update from 5.0 Sp5 was cancelled, i saved my "servcert.cer" and after that i removed the sim installation and made a new installation of hp sim 5.01.
So here is my question: How to import this old certificate? Because i don't want change all Client-Certificates in the hp management agents.

Re: Old Server-Certificate to new HP SIM
Go to options/Certificate/trusted certificate.
Browse the "servcert.cer" and Click Import.
the certificate will be imported successfully.
When you do this, this means you are still using the old server cert for the new setup and select the radio button "require".
Hope this might solve your problem.

Re: Old Server-Certificate to new HP SIM
This means only that the hp sim allows connections from the clients with the old server certificate data.
But the problem is that the connection will started from the hp sim to the clients with the new certificate and they don't trust this new certificate from hp sim.
So i have to manually login to the web page of the clients and also the functions as software status polling does not work.
The only way seems to be to change the new certificate to the old one. But the question is how???

Re: Old Server-Certificate to new HP SIM
Use the configure and repair agent feature in the configure menu to replace the certificate.
check the user guide : http://h10018.www1.hp.com/wwsolutions/misc/hpsim-helpfiles/hpsim_userguide_51.pdf

Re: Old Server-Certificate to new HP SIM
In the past I've created a new baseline of just the SMH configured with the new Certificate and deployed that.
