Prevent domain name from appending to server during import
Hi,
If I manually add a server using manual discovery, it does not append the domain name (good). If I use host files to import server names in bulk, it adds our domain name to the end of the server name (bad).
Is there any way to prevent this from happening? I have written a custom SQL application that imports SIM data and keys off the server name to link to other tables storing our custom information. If it appends the domain name, it breaks my application because the foreign keys no longer work.
Any help is appreciated.
