Problem installing SIM 4.2

Hi,
I have tried to install HP SIM 4.2 on a SuperDome 32000 running HPUX 11.11 without success.

When running the mxinitconfig -a it does everything successful apart from the last point:
15. Database Population
- Cannot start the service
- Warning
Completed with warnings.
Details can be found in the log file at /var/opt/mx/logs/initconfig.log

the only problem I can find is with the mxdomainmgr this has the following:
Error occurred during initialization of VM
Could not reserve enough space for permanent generation heap

I have checked the kernel params for the Java VM and we are way above the required thresholds, we do have another java based program running on this server, which is HP SanMgr could this be the problem??
