Problem with HP Insight Manager 4.2 and PMP
after updating several Proliant servers to Smartstart 7.2 and Windows 2003 SP1, I can't license these servers for the Performance Management Pack.
SNMP is OK authentication is OK, they are recognized in HP SIM, but not in PMP.
Any Idea?

Re: Problem with HP Insight Manager 4.2 and PMP
Have you tried hitting the Update Server list in the PMP LIcense Screen?
What kind of Servers are they?
Also, I believe Windows SP1 possibly blocks access to some ports. I've not yet tried with 2003 SP1, but that's where my suspicions would lie. Softpaq 7.20 is generally okay.

You need to hit that.
Also check the View in the PMP Licensing screen is listing All Servers and not ALL Licensed Servers.
The PMP License screen should display all Proliant Servers.
In the main System Display, are they being recognised as Proliant Servers?

Re: Problem with HP Insight Manager 4.2 and PMP
But once run, the Servers became visible in the PMP License list.
Just a note PMP 3.1.1 is available for download.
