Problem with VCRM (HP SIM 5.3 sp1)
Hi.
After installing HP SIM 5.3 sp 1 (typical installation), when setting up automatic downloading support packages from HP, lost opportunity to choose the OS. Wizard skips this item. And in the settings. s SIM - Options - VCRM shows only that "This repository is empty". How to make VCRM download packages of support for some OSes?
SIM set to dl 380g5, win server 2003 r2.

Re: Problem with VCRM (HP SIM 5.3 sp1)
A couple of ways but the easiest is to open the SMH on the SIM server, and go to the VCRM. At that point click on the Catalog tab and then select Update from HP.com now. That should populate it.

Re: Problem with VCRM (HP SIM 5.3 sp1)
Thanks for the advice, but I tried it first thing before write here - has not helped. The logs VCRM this:
18.02.2010 15:14:00 The Version Control Repository Manager POSTed a Version Control Repository Manager/Automatic Update category event with severity code 4 to URL http://servername.mydomain.ds.local:280/cpqevent.
18.02.2010 15:14:00 The automatic repository update failed because an error occurred while retrieving the download site catalog. [ details ]
18.02.2010 15:11:52 Automatic update started successfully
Does anyone have more ideas?
