Process Monitor - Event Not Showing at CMS

Any reason why my process monitoring has stopped?

I created a test process (notepad.exe)so that anytime this process/executable starts or stops I get an event at my CMS and a text message to my pager. Unfortunately, I am not getting either an event or a page.

I am getting the test traps okay.

My CMS is running Windows 2000 and my managed servers are all 2000 or 2003 running HP MA 7.1 or 7.2

I don't think that's going to work with an ordinary executable, even if you add it in to the list on the process monitor tab. Try checking it out using a real service, and confirm that there is an entry corresponding in the Windows event log.

I could have sworn I tested notepad.exe as an example before. No sweat, I tested several other "real" services and they work. That's what counts!
