PSP 7.20 Setting Disk Thrsholds
Hi All,
I've just seen the following behaviour.
On the File System Space Used screen, I drag the two sliders along, hit Save and the Screen Refresh shows that the sliders have not moved.
But, if I now just hit the File System Space Used button to re-present the screen it shows they have been set. It seems the Refresh after the Save is just showing the screen as it was.
I'm still having problems where the Sets do not take, so on 4 disks, setting 8 sliders only the first two settings took. It then took about 10 more iterations to get the remaining 6 sliders into position.
But, I didn't get the HTTP Status errors I've seen in the past.
I know it cannot be setup / permissions as they do finally take.
This is now the 6th issue I've come across with PSP 7.20A. It seems a bit fragile.

Re: PSP 7.20 Setting Disk Thrsholds
Rob, I also noticed that regardless of the disk threshold, every time the server reboots, it generates disk threshold exceeded. Is this another "feature" of 7.20?
Is there some way to avoid this? Thank you so much as always.

Re: PSP 7.20 Setting Disk Thrsholds
If the threshold has been exceeded you will get re-notified whenever the Agent gets restarted.
That is the expected behaviour.
If the threshold has not been exceeded you should not get any notifications at reboots etc. I've not seen this (yet!) on our Servers here and we've rebooted some since 7.20 went in.

Re: PSP 7.20 Setting Disk Thrsholds
Hi Rob,
I just saw the same sort of behavior. I initially set the disk thresholds through SIM, and they only partially took. I manually moved the sliders twice before it showed the correct thresholds for all three drives.
