"Cluster Monitor Status Change" Events
I have just upgraded HP SIM 4.1 to 4.2, and I am now recieving loads of Cluster Monitor Status Change events, can somebody tell me what SNMP trap these are configured in, so that I may change the alert status and category.
I have done this with other SNMP trap categories with success, I just can't find the Cluster Monitor Status Change SNMP trap category.
:-(

Re: "Cluster Monitor Status Change" Events
Richard,
We had a similar problem. Cluster Monitor is a tool packaged with your HPSIM. To configure, go to Options/Cluster Monitor and select the appropriate setting.
Hopefully, you'll have better luck configuring than we did. We just couldn't get the polling sensitivity and thresholds right and ended up not monitoring the cluster, just the individual nodes.
Good luck,
Kevin

Re: "Cluster Monitor Status Change" Events
Hi Richard
We have this problem too and its driving me nuts. In fact I want to disable these Cluster Resource alerts... but can only find the window to adjust the thresholds which incidentaly dont show a disable option.
Did you find a solution???
Cheers
