Rack and Powermanagement
I've istalled Rack and Power manager 1.1successfully, but want to integrate it into SIM 4.1.
Is there a manual for the required steps and a example xml ?
Many thanks

Re: Rack and Powermanagement
Appendix B explain how to plug-in the application to HP SIM.

Re: Rack and Powermanagement
many thanks for the help. I replaced the mib with the right version ( 1.7) which run successfully. Then I created the xml-file like printed in the manual, but when trying to do the mxtool -a -f HPRPM.xml, I get the following error :
C:\Programme\HP\Systems Insight Manager>mxtool -a -f HPRPM.xml
While processing an XML file, the following error occurred:
Invalid byte 1 of 1-byte UTF-8 sequence.
The xml-file I've created is attached to this quote.
What could be wrong ?
