Repair Agents - system has no authorizations for user hostname\mxadmin

Repair Agents - system has no authorizations for user hostname\mxadmin

If I run a repair agents command against a Windows 2003 server running PSP 7.40, the task complete immediately with an error as follows:

Error: Windows repair tool execution exception: com.hp.mx.core.authorizationmanager.MxUnauthorizedUserException: The system has no authorizations for user hostname\mxadmin.

Everything appears to be installed and working properly on this server. Does anyone know what to check?
