Rights management: clearing events

Using HP SIM 4.2 I just discovered that one needs full configuration rights to be able to clear events. So, as an operator I appearently can't perform that task, even if I fool around with custom tool boxes. (What are operators good for then?)
With HP SIM 5.0, will this be different? Or will I still be obliged to grant administrator rights to anybody who only wants to clear events?

Create a new authorization and assign All Tools on CMS to the operator user.

Then login as operator user and go to Option--> Events--> Clear Events.

Select the events and run the tool.

Thanks for your reply. What you suggested is what I already found in the online help ("Only users with full configuration rights can clear events." etc.) Nevertheless, I tried out what you suggested, but no item "clear events" was visible in the "Options - Events - ..." submenu. Nor did any appropriate buttons show up at the bottom of the Event Lists. Maybe a bug ...?
