SET SNMP r/w on all machines at once

Is it possible to add or change the SNMP set parameters on all of my systems in one go, if so how can I go about it? I want to be able to clear all of the IML logs on each machine?

Yes, you have to configure a server with the SNMP parementer you want to replicate. Then use that server has a reference server in the HP SIM Job to change the configuration to one or several servers at once.

How exactly would you do that? Thanks.

Hello

Use Replicate Agent Settings tools.

Thanks, is there a way to create a trusted batch process also, without it being "trusted"? Replicate gleams with errors.

Hello

Trust Relationship must be established, then you can use Replicate Agent Settings.

Re: SET SNMP r/w on all machines at once

If you have a number of servers with the agents/utilities (namely the PSP) already installed but without trust relationships established, a creative use of the "Initial PSP Install" task can solve the problem.

Since you don't necessarily want to re-install the entire PSP (although the only downside to that is the bandwidth consumed and the time involved), you can use VCRM to create a custom PSP consisting only of the agent. Make sure the agent is configured with the trust relationship, and then use 'Initial PSP Install' to distribute. Now everyone will trust your HP SIM server.
