SIM 4.1 on SLES9

Has anyone tried to install SIM 4.1 on a SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9?
I know it's not supported in the documentation, but maybe someone has tried it anyhow.
If not, somebody may know when SLES9 will be a supported platform.

Because nobody seemed to be interested in this issue I had to try it myself. And FYI - Yes it works!
