SIM 5.0, managed client not associating with it's MP
I have advanced iLO license installed (ver 1.82), and SIM detects it ok, but it doesn't associate with it's parent server in SIM so the parent server gets a splat in the MP column. I'm so type A this is driving me nuts. I've tried deleting/rediscovering both entries (the iLO and the parent box). The parent box has PSP 7.40 installed (dl380g3, win03sp1).
One odd thing, is in the iLO status page, the iLO serial number shows up as ILOO'^ (verbatim). This is an rpl mobo. The rest of my iLO's correctly associate with their parent servers, just this one.
Server and iLO Diag screen is clean, as is the iLO Event Log.
Status Summary DOES reflect the netbios name of the parent box.
Server Status shows the Server ID as O'^
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Amasa

Hi Amasa.
Can you try this :
http://your_ilo_ip/xmldata?item=All and see if you have the host server serial number between the RBSN tags.
