SIM 5.1 Ä°nstallation Problem

when i starting installation to HP SIM on fresh windows 2003 system , error message appair in database configuration step.In this step all parameters is correct Error messages says: "Unknown database error 16", how can i solve this problem?

Ä° tried install to another system and installed properly.

I have the same problem.I could not solve it yet.But I think that this problem is because of the regional settings.I don't know the correct settings in regional settings.But if you can install it to another system just inform us about the regional settings of the working machine.

Anyone got the solution.

I am installation SIM 5.3 SP1 in a fresh installed Win2k3... following Lab guide and video guide....

But still get "Unknown database error 16"...

You might want to try posting a new thread.
Also include a bit more detail, versions etc. whether you're using an external database.
The more info you provide the better.
If it's external - what's the database and version - e.g. is it supported.
