SIM 5.2 - Database Size
Hello,
the Size of my SIM Database is actual 47GB. Is there a way to clean up the mess?

Do you have the automatic event cleanup turned on in SIM? It will clean up the events after 90 days and remove them from the database.
Our SQL database with approximately 1400 devices (Servers and iLo) is 305MB

I have some events that remain pending. They won't delete. How do you clear them out of the DB?

1. Look into database.admin file for your db server
2. Open SQL Query analyzer on the db server
3. truncate the table dbo.notices (and some other tables i´ve found here in the Forum. sorry i dont know them anymore.)
4. shrink the db file
