SIM 5 and Trust relationship after upgrade
I had previous version of HPSIM installed and working, but decided to uninstall and do fresh install of HPSIM 5. No I cannot deploy to my managed Server(s). It tells me there's not trust relationship. I click the (configure) link, but all the options are greyed out.
I try to do the Repair, but I get a Minor failure
"Failed to create indication subscription"
I uninstalled the Insight Management Agents on the managed server(s)... not sure if I should have done this or not.
How can I re-establish the trust relationship so I can manage the server(s)?

Re: SIM 5 and Trust relationship after upgrade
As I understand it John, that message is for the CMS trying to subsribe to WBEM notices. I had the same issue, and after some research found a post on this forum that described these indications as for being for HP-UX systems only. As long as you configure openssh, and your strings correctly, you should be able to manage as you had before.

Re: SIM 5 and Trust relationship after upgrade
it's a WindowsXP based SIM server but trying to deploy to a windows 2003 server.
Not sure if/how that changes things.

Re: SIM 5 and Trust relationship after upgrade
Also,
I've not been able to get the SSH to install when pushed from SIM... v. 5 or prior version. But was able to update and monitor Win2k3 server before.
