SIM and PSP for ESX connected to EMC storage

Currently there is a HP ProLiant with ESX connected to EMC storage. So HBA drivers are installed.

Now i want to get ESX hardware status so i need to install the PSP for ESX. This will add storage drivers too.

Will this PSP install blow-up things or interfere with the existing drivers that attach to the EMC storage?

The only source of HBA drivers for ESX is VMware. HP does not provide them, so there will be no conflict.
