SIM: How to replicate accounts and passwords across multiple iLO/RILO cards?
I manage large number of ProLiant servers running Linux. They all have either iLO or RILO management cards. Can I use a SIM server to change/update the password for the Administrator account across multiple iLO/RILO cards? Also if I create a new account on one iLO card, can I use the SIM server to push that account to multiple iLO cards?
Thanks,
Ross

I do not think you can.
There is a Lights Out Configuration utility to do this, but I've only seen a Windows version.

You could try looking in the appropriate Linux version at:

Re: SIM: How to replicate accounts and passwords across multiple iLO/RILO cards?
iLO has a a scripting configuration language. From Linux you can access it using the Online Configuration Utility for Linux - http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/20911.html with samples available from http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/21316.html or you can call it from Perl scripts. There are examples that can be downloaded from http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/21327.html
