SIM is sending 2 email for every critical event. Normal?

I set up my SIM so that it text and email me when something major happens. It's working okay, but the thing is, I always get 2 text and email for every event. For example, when i pull the power cord, i would get these:

SERVER1: (SNMP) Power Redundancy Lost (6032):
SERVER1: (SNMP) Power Redundancy Lost (6032):
SERVER1,(SNMP) Power Supply Failed (6050)
SERVER1,(SNMP) Power Supply Failed (6050)

is this normal? how can i set SIM up so that i only get 1 message for every major error?

Thanks

If you have iLO on these servers, go into SNMP/Insight Manager Settings and set Enable iLO SNMP Alerts to NO.

i don't want to disable it. i want to receive just one. instead of multiple. it gets confusing to read on a phone

If you disable the event sending on the iLO, you will still get the alerts when the server send the trap to SIM. I was getting double alerts as well until I did this. Try it on a couple first and see if it works. It did for me.
