SIM shows "Unknown" for system type of Virtual servers

I had to reinstall SIM yesterday and am working on getting everything back. I monitor 2 ESX servers with VMM. My virtual servers are all saying that the System Type is "unknown". It knows that they are on the ESX servers though. How do I get it to show the correct system type?

HP SIM gathers information from the virtual machines using WMI/WBEM. Make sure the WMI Mapper is installed and configured in HP SIM and that you have WBEM credentials set in global or system protocol settings.

Where do I go to configure the WMI wrapper in SIM?

By default the WBEM should have been installed. Must of the time it's simply..

"WBEM credentials set in global or system protocol settings"

The credentials will be the account that can log into the *VM* not the HOST.

Hmm, I have that setup correctly then. I've even tried with the credentials of a domain administrator with the same result.

Are you running Identify?

What does your output say (When you run Identify - you get and output log for the server).
