Re: SIM won't clear error status in all systems list
If it's a hardware error that is unfixed the error flag will not go away until the error condition is resolved.

Re: SIM won't clear error status in all systems list
1. Delete that device and rediscover.
2. Execute Hardware Status polling task (Options-> Status polling -> Hardware status polling) on that device
Basically HPSIM should poll that device for the latest data, so that it is updated in the database.

Here's the screenshot of the homepage of the server, as you can see, all clear.

Re: SIM won't clear error status in all systems list
Are you saying the actual Homepage is not showing any errors.
Perhaps a screenshot of the Homepage, just click on the HW Icon for the Server.

Re: SIM won't clear error status in all systems list
I have seen where SNMP from the APC UPS monitoring software will force a server into a yellow condition, even though this will not show on the server's management home page.

Re: SIM won't clear error status in all systems list
see the attached screenshot. This is for 7.10 and prior versions of management agents.
This is no longer available in 7.20 management agents, because it is integrated with System Management Homepage.

Re: SIM won't clear error status in all systems list
Then click the Logs Tab, there will be a link to the IML from there.
Otherwise from the Server itself, from Programs look for HP System Tools and then a link to the Integrated Management Log viewer.
Either option should allow you to view and clear any IML errors.
