SIM4 install breaks PSP 7.00 Agents

On two servers when installing SIM4 on top of a Windows 2003 server with PSP 7.00, the web agents for the PSP have died (web agent service won't start).

The ONLY way I could get things to work again was to remove *all* HP PSP related entries in the add/remove applet, reboot, delete the c:\compaq directory, then reinstall PSP/VCRM.

After all of that, things appear to be fine. Has anyone else had this install problem?

Hold on, are you installing HPSIM on all your servers?

You only need HPSIM on a single Server and the Agents installed on all others.

But no, I don't recall HPSIM breaking PSP 7.00A.
I did have a problem where either CIM 7 SP2.3 or PSP 7.00A broke PMP 2.1A and I had to reinstall PMP.
