Single sign in and server certs

I might be reading this wrong or maybe dreaming but I thought you could use the server cert from your SIM server with the install of the management agents to make a single login to the web agents on your servers. It gets really old having to login to each server when you want to drill down to the actual problems. Ive tried doing this but I didnt get the results I dreamed about. Can some one help with this or tell me what this really does?

Re: Single sign in and server certs

It certainly is possible to achieve what you want.
On a Server you want to manage go to the Settings Section and select Options.

There's a number of Trust Options, I use Trust By Certificate. And then in the section lower down you can import the certificate from the HPSIM Server.

If you use the VCRM or the RDU to deploy Softpaqs you can configure these options into the Agents so that they're installed with them.

Re: Single sign in and server certs

Thats exactly the answer I wanted to hear but what settings section are you wanting me to look for options in?

Re: Single sign in and server certs

From the Systems Management Homepage of the Remote Server.
Once you log in to the Agent there are several tabs, Settings is the second one in.

You can change SNMP Settings here, but you're interested in the Options link.
