Software column in SIM does not display the correct info?

I've recently updated the Version Control Agent settings on all of the managed servers, but the SW column in SIM still displays a "? - Version Control Agent not configured" status for most of the managed servers. However, when I click on the "?" mark, I'd get the Version Control Agent pane with the correct status for these managed servers? Somehow SIM is not getting the correct info from Version Control Agent? Has anyone seen this?

I'm currently running SIM 4.2 SP2 on Windows 2000.

If you have working VCA settings, on VCA page you should find Installed Version, Support Pack Version and Latest Version columns. If they are there, try to do a Software Status Polling from HP SIM menus. It will force HP SIM to recognize immediately that your server VCA is available and has the connection to VCRM. Try it on one of your problematic server.

Thanks Szabolcs. Didn't think about status polling, but that works.
