Suspend/Resume Monitoring - setting server to Suspend does not stick after next dicovery

Within SIM you open a server's properties, chick Tools & LInks,  Suspend/Resume Monitoring and then set the system to Suspend monitoring indefinitely or for xx days to stop getting alerted for systems being worked on.

Problem is that when the next Discovery runs these settings get reset to default and monitoring gets resumed again.

Is this a bug of by design and is there any workarounds for this other that excluding these systems from the discovery ranges.
