SW Column in SIM not showing anything

I had to reinstall SIM and only 3 of the 15 or so systems I have monitored are showing anything in the SW column. In other words, the 3 that work seem normal, but the rest are literally blank with no icon at all in the SW column.

What could cause this?

Has the server been correctly identified?
If the System Type is not Server then HPSIM would not equate the SW Icon with it.
