system detected is not a virtual machine
Having problems doing P2V. Target host is Windows 2003 with Virtual Server 2005 R2 Ent. Ed. SP1. I create the VM and boot it with smpbootcd-v-3.50.iso. It loads the cd for 23 mins. until i get this error:
"This SMP Universal VM Boot CD is only supported on virtual machines. The system detected is not a virtual machine. If you wish to perform a migration to this system, please boot this system with the proper SMP Universal Boot CD. Please refer to the SMP Universal User Guide for additional details."
The last screen says "Loading media (Step 3 of 4)" before i get the error above.
I'm using HP SMP Universal Edition v3.50.
Any ideas?

Re: system detected is not a virtual machine
Must be a bug in v3.50
I did it the normal way by connecting to the VM Host and letting HP Server Migration Pack VM Host Agent take care of the VM creation.
This process worked perfectly.
