Systems Management Homepage missing items
I have HP Management Agents (6.40.0.0)installed on large number of Proliant DL360 serevrs running Windows 2000 SP4. All the management agents are installed apart from Clustering Info & Rack Info.
When I log into System Management as administrator, I get different home pages displayed on different servers. Some servers display all the items (Storage, Management Processor, NIC etc) but some have certain items missing. Some only show the Version Control item.
All servers have SP4 installed, use the same version of IE (6.0 SP1) have the same services & applications installed.
The agents have been reinstalled on some of the servers with items missing but this has not fixed the problem.
Does anyone have any suggestions what might be causing this problem.
Many thanks
Gavin

Re: Systems Management Homepage missing items
Hello
Check propertis of SNMP servis, tab securitiy. If you have enabled options Accept SNMP packet from these hosts verifiy if there a localhost.
If not enter a localhost and restart SNMP servis and Insight Web agent.

Re: Systems Management Homepage missing items
I am getting the same problem but DO have the loopback first in the permitted managers list.
Any other suggestions? This only happened when we moved to 7.0.
