Long story short, I have a few servers that continue to tell me devices have failed and I no longer wish to recieve the alerts for these certain failures on a couple servers. Any way for me (besides fixing the issue) to turn off these certain alerts? Running SIM 5.3 SP1. When I click on the server and then go to Tools & Links, there is an option to suspend monitoring, which I have done. But yet, I continue to recieve the same alerts (Accelerator Board Battery Failed (3027). Thanks.

Solution
I'd guess these are coming from the agents. You could remove the trap destination from SNMP. That way it won't know where to send the traps.
Also you could leave monitoring on so you'd get an alert if the server went down as that comes from the polling mechanism.

Re: Turn off monitoring on certain devices?
Ahh good point. I will try that. Thanks.
