Unable to clear IML, via SIM, on Netware Server

Going to a Netware server's "web agent page", I am unable to clear IML. It says that I am logged in "Anonymous". I know what that means, but I do not know how to fix it. In Windows, I know where to go to setup the administrator account that allows me to do things like clear the IML. In Netware, I do not know where to setup this type of thing.
Help...please.

Re: Unable to clear IML, via SIM, on Netware Server

One of the most common reasons is insufficient SNMP rights.

The first LOAD SNMP.NLM statement will determine which community strings will be used. In order to clear the IML log, the control community has to be defined.

If you use INETCFG.NLM to configure your network settings, you can modify the SNMP settings there. Otherwise, you will have to trace the AUTOEXEC.NCF file and find the first SNMP.NLM statement that executes.

Refer to http://support.novell.com/cgi-bin/search/searchtid.cgi?/2915082.htm for more information on SNMP.NLM.

Also, make certain that the SIM server is listed in TRAPTARG.CFG.
