Unable to communicate with Management Processor - no ILO licence
Hello
We just setup a new SIM 7.6 installation and are getting "communication errors" with the following description
"Unable to communicate with Management Processor <server> in server <server> because it does not have an iLO Advanced or iLO Select license."
The error is correct we do not have any ILO licences installed but how do we turn off this alert? I am guessing its through the SMTP trap settings but I cant figure out which MIB or trap name I need to disable. Any help would be apreciated.

Re: Unable to communicate with Management Processor - no ILO licence
To resolve this issue, apply the HP iLO advanced license key for server.

Re: Unable to communicate with Management Processor - no ILO licence
We do not have keys to install. There should be a way to turn this alert off.

Re: Unable to communicate with Management Processor - no ILO licence
And when that 60 days is up the error will come back. The place I work cannot aford to buy keys. This was not an issue with our old 7.4 installation. unfortuately the person who built the previous server dosen't work here any more hence why I am reaching out to find a solution.

Re: Unable to communicate with Management Processor - no ILO licence
I am not sure how moving a licence will help. I have no licences. All I am intersted in doing is turning the alert off in sim since I know that component wont work.

Re: Unable to communicate with Management Processor - no ILO licence
We use the non-licenced features of the ILO. so no disableing the ILO is not a solution.
