I have found an entry for specific trap ID 3045 in Mib File CPQIDA-MIB.txt, which means:

Does someone has an idea what this trap with specific trap ID 3046 means?

Re: Unkown Tape library SNMP Trap
You should be able to identify the host that sent it and check on the drives.

Re: Unkown Tape library SNMP Trap
Where can I get the newest MIB-Files?
How are they versioned?

Re: Unkown Tape library SNMP Trap
C:\Program Files\HP\Systems Insight Manager\mibs
You can also find a MIB Update kit for HPSIM under:
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/locOsCat/69.html#327
Looking at the MIB I have loaded this is a physical device status change - so you may not have the latest MIB loaded.
How you do this depends on the version of HPSIM you have installed. As the MIB Updates are not cumulative, in other words you need to get hold of the preceding MIB Update kits as well.
If you're running HPSIM 5.1 SP1, you should just need the 7.70 MIB Update kit.

Re: Unkown Tape library SNMP Trap
we forward the traps to Tivoli TEC for further processing.
As far as I understand, the MIB versions correspond to the hardware and not to the HPSIM version. Nevertheless there are upgrade packages for the HPSIM servers.
Furthermore we need to upgrade the HPSIM <-> Tivoli TEC integration. Where can we downloud upgrades for the TEC integration.
Would those integration pack upgrades be in sync with MIB upgrades?
Regards,
Hans-Georg

No questions left.
