upgrade server agent from 6.30 to 7.70

Can I upgrade from 6.30 to 7.70 directly?

Probably!
It does depend on the OS, e.g. NT4 stops with 6.40 and I've not seen a 7.70 for W2000 yet.

It is best practise to install the entire PSP, just installing the later agents will probably not work as they do depend on the underlying drivers.

There are no obvious jumps to intermediate versions.
