Upgrade to SIM 5.1
Having issues even starting the upgrade. When the install of 5.1 begins, the databse configuration page comes up and prompting for credentials. The ID, domain and Host displayed are correct, and I enter the password, click next and get a popup box stating the "....account credentials are not valid" I called HP on this and we ran the MXpasswword, checked the Database.props file and looks good. Anyone run into this?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Upgrade to SIM 5.1
Are you logging in with an administrative level account (OS)? Also, the user name you are using, does it have DBO rights on the db? That's needed for installs/upgrades for the db....

Re: Upgrade to SIM 5.1
Hi, the issue you are mentioning here has been encountered by many, including myself, as we have upgraded to HPSIM 5.1. There is something that somehow is triggering a lockout for the account used to install/upgrade HPSIM.
When you get the message, you should quickly go to Administrative Tools/Computer Management (assuming Windows 2003 OS). Then, unlock the account. At that point, you should be able to proceed w/ the HPSIM upgrade. Hope this helps.
