VCA - Upgrade
We have over 1800 servers in HP SIM. About 600 servers have older VCA and below v7.30 PSP installed, so the old legacy Administrator account does not work in HP SIM for VCA/VCRM and weekly Data collection job.
We don't have any plan to upgrade all the servers with new PSP, due to older hardware. Is there anyway to just deploy the VCA (v2.1.1.720 - which doesn’t use legacy Administrator account) from HP SIM to only older VCA servers, so VCA can communicate to VCRM?
Thanks.

Re: VCA - Upgrade
Splitting components of a PSP is not best practise. I believe it's more the SMH than the VCA where the authentication changed, so both of these would be required.
I've installed recent versions of PSPs on older hardware. It's more constrained around the OS.
