Hi. I have two issues with SIM and VCA (see screenshot):
1. Why is SIM displaying the server's SW status as yellow (minor) when it's local SMH->VCA is reporting it as green (normal)?
Doesn't SIM respect my choice of a reference support pack? Mine is 7.80, but as you know there are a couple of "minor" releases/updates since 7.80. Is that why SIM is reporting minor status?
2. Why is SIM reporting some server's SW status as "Unknown - VC agent not configured"?
Again, if I check the server's local SMH->VCA, it's nice and green, and getting repository info from the VCRM on the SIM server.
Thanks in advance!
/Anders (day 4 of SIM implementation now) :)

Solution
The SW flag is updated by the Software Version Status Polling task which I think runs weekly.
If you've made changes you can manually run the task which should update the SW flags.
VC Agent not configured would indicate that the VCA has not been configured correctly or cannot access the VCRM.

Re: VCA yellow in SIM, but green in SMH when using reference psp
Ah. Running the task manually solved both my problems. I also scheduled that task to run nightly instead of weekly.
Many thanks for the fast and correct response!
