VCR 2.1.1.730 Error when setting up auto update
Hi all,
I have just installed SIM 4.2 SP2 on a new server, and with it the Version Control Repository version 2.1.1.730. When I try to setup the Automatic Update Settings, I get the error:
Error: unable to connect. The server name could not be resolved.
I checked the log, and didn't see anything. We don't use a proxy server, so those settings have been left blank. Has anyone else seen this before? Is there a way to figure out what servername is trying to be resolved? I'm not sure if its trying to resolve the HP url for the auto update or not.
Any information would be appreciated.

Re: VCR 2.1.1.730 Error when setting up auto update
Check you have access to ftp sites
Try to ping ftp.hp.com and ftp.compaq.com
if the above don't resolve the "Name"
Add the following to the "Host" file
192.6.234.10 ftp.hp.com
192.6.234.9 ftp.hp.com
161.114.65.124 ftp.compaq.com
and try Automatic update.
