VCRM access denied when installing driver/firmware/tool
Hello,
when I configure my VCA I am able to see the content of the repository matched against my installed support pack. When I try to install an updated driver/tool/firmware I get the following error in my VCRM log:
Entry Details
Severity Warning
Date / Time 12/08/2005 11:02:09
Message Incorrect login account privilege or protocol for request.
Additional Data
(get) /vcrepository/repository

HTTP_VCREPOSITORY_PROP=operator:10;

QUERY_STRING=legacyuri=/vcrepository/repository&file=cp005544.exe&manufacturer=HP&name=ProLiant%20DL360%20G4&system_id=$0E110741
REQUEST_METHOD=get
Query Parameters:
file=cp005544.exe
manufacturer=HP
name=ProLiant DL360 G4
system_id=$0E110741
The file exists in the repository folder.
I access the VCRM as DOMAIN\Administrator.
What could be causing this? It's a default install of HP SIM and all servers are Windows Server 2003 SP1.

Re: VCRM access denied when installing driver/firmware/tool
The system that is running the VCRM, does the System Management Homepage have it's security setting set to alllow Anonymous access? If so you might try turning off Anonymous access and see if the behavior changes.
