VCRM - Deploy not showing latest software

I've downloaded some additional material into the VCRM and also used the VCRM to delete some old firmware.
I've updated the catalogue from the VCRM and all appears as I'd expect.

The problem is when I go to the Deploy Screen, the information regarding software and firmware stored in the VCRM is incorrect. The new downloads are missing and the old material is still listed.
The same is true if I use the VCRM link from the Options page of HPSIM, the information listed is out of date.
The true listing is if I use the VCRM link from the Server that has the VCRM installed.
Also if I use the VCA from any Server and use the Show Additional items the Software Listing is correct.
There must be some Page Caching somewhere but I cannot see a way to clear it so I cannnot schedule a Deploy Software task.

After a while the additional material was finally listed, but along with the deleted material which I find even more puzzling.

Rob,

HPSIM does VCRM polling every 4 hours. If you want the latest information to be updated immediately in HPSIM, then there is a link "last update" in VCRM page in HPSIM (Options->Version control repository manager). Clicking on that link should update the tree with latest information.

Regarding that deleted item, you might want to check if that component file is not present in any other folder within the repository. Also check that it is not shown in the VCRM catalog. Once all this is done, try clicking the "last update" link in (Options->Version control repository manager). Hope it works..

I'll try the link next time, everything has caught up now, even the deleted items have gone from the display.
Where did you find the info on the 4 hour Polling Interval?

Ahhh.... thanks the the info, it certainly explains the behaviour I saw.
