Re: VCRM on SIM 4.01
I am working on some final details for a permanent workaround for the "VCRM not showing up" problem. For now, this details-free version should get you running through re-boots.
With SIM 4.0 or 4.01 there are some directory access problems with the \compaq\wbem directory. If you STOP EVERYTHING (keep browsing to http://server:2301/proxy/xestatusreport until there is no reply after stopping services) and then *re-name* this directory, you can create a NEW \compaq\wbem directory. Then copy in the backed-up cpqhmmd.ACL file, the certs\ subdirectory (if one exists; this will preserver your trusted SIM servers). Then the homepage subdirectory needs to be re-created and populated with your backep-up cpqhmmd.ini and cpqhmmdx.ini files (this preserves your HTTP Server Settings. Then reboot and you should be fine.
Note that uninstalling HPSIM 4.0 or 4.01 before installing 4.1 does not help since the uninstall does not remove the \compaq\wbem directory and the "Bad" settings stick.
Note: This workaround should be applied in tandem with the HTTP Server patch to get all web enabled products to the same HTTP server version (you really should do this anyway to ensure security).
I will re-post with a simpler workaround that will look like "change the security settings on the \compaq\wbem\ directory from X to Y" when we get these details worked out.

Re: VCRM on SIM 4.01
I have installed the http-update, new VCA and 7.10 agent. After a reboot everything works.
