Version Control Agent not Available-Error
On the process of finalizing my VCRM.
I choose one server as a candidate and run Install Software and Firmware" choose the target server. It detected my VCRm when I click run now gave me this error "Version Control agent is not available"
I went to target server and check the services in my control panel-services and VCA agent is up and running.
Any idea how to troubleshoot this.
thanks

Re: Version Control Agent not Available-Error
On the target server, connect to the HP Homepage and see if the VCA is showing as an agent. If so try lauching, if it times out it might be having problems connecting to the VCRM. You could change the setting in the VCA, but I've found that when its not configured it sometimes times out and stopping the VCRM's temporarily sometimes enables you to access the settings. Obviously, you need to restart the VCRM before applying the revised VCA setting.
In the end...
