Version Control Repository manager not showing bios updates

So I installed VCRM with latest HP SIM. It created C:\Repository folder where Support paq files were placed. I tried to copy some online bios updates in there and rebuilded catalog. With the server online bios updates there were no problems. When I rebuilded catalog they appeared in list. Then I tried to add Compaq 5i array controller online bios update (2.58A version). I added it, rebuilded catalog and I can't find this update anywhere:( I can see that this update was added to repository catalog in the logs. So what am I doing wrong? I want to see this bios update:) Thanks.

Re: Version Control Repository manager not showing bios updates

If the log says it was added, and the link to the component file in the log displays the component information, it *should* be in the catalog.

I just downloaded the 2.58A component, CP004426.exe, and it's listed under both W2K and W2K3, Firmware - Storage Controller, with this title: Online ROM Flash Component for Windows - Smart Array 5i and SA-532 Version 2.58A (English (US)).

Is that the file download you see in the VCRM log?

Re: Version Control Repository manager not showing bios updates

When I configured VCRM to get catalog from HP site this update appeared in the lists of available updates. Till then I was not able to find this update nowhere:( There was no firmware row in my lists:(
