Version Control Repository Manager
I am trying to define my VCR location on my
central management server on a windows 2003 server. I enter the url http:hostname:2381/vcrepository and get the
management homepage. I use BROWSE to find
were the service pack is that I want to
use for the repository, but the small window
says to check the checkboxes next to the
directore where the service pack is, but there are no check boxes! Now what ....? I can't designate my support pack repository location -

Re: Version Control Repository Manager
The VCRM can support a number of Softpaqs. I split mine by directory and just point the VCRM to the top level.
E.g. I have my repository pointed to d:\vcrm. Below that I have 3 sub-directories a couple for different softpaqs we're maintianing and a non-softpaq directory for ROMs etc.
Then just use VCRM to scan the catalogue and ant Softpaqs will be identified.
Once done you can set the VCA's to the reference Packs.
