cannot install OS on DL20 and DL160 G10

Hello Lads,

we have recently purchased 2 HPE servers, DL20 and DL160 G10, as we are going to install OS(windows 2019 Standard) we kept the configuration simple and used the software controller SR100i.

right now in the Storage configuration as we chose the "AHCI" and when we are proceeding through the installation, for driver selections it shows us a lot of strange logical drives- some of them show as recovery, primary) and OS cannot be installed.

and as we choose also smart Array, during the OS installation there is no driver found, and suggested drivers on the HPE support center are not working as well.

has anybody faced this before? or is there any suggestion for this?

PS: we have checked the HDDs and they are in the compatibility list of servers

Re: cannot install OS on DL20 and DL160 G10

Hello,

Please ensure the Intelligent provisioning version is 3.60 or later version.

Also, please install OS using Intelligent Provisioning.

If you tried a manual OS by mounting the ISO to the iLO and booting from it using F11, please download the driver.
