Cannot reinstall DL380e Gem8 server with F10 intelligent provisioning
We have a HP ProLiant DL380e Gen8 where 2 hard disks failed in a short period destroying the OS (without viable baclkup). I have replaced the hard disks and want to reinstall Windows 2012 server, but i have the additional problem of F10 failing to get the server into the Inelligent provisioning mode. When you press F10, the Intelligent provisioning mode gets selected and goes white, but it continues on, and cycles with the boot process starting over. I downloaded an ISO of the bootable provisioning software to start it from a CD, but while it loaded up, and seemed to be getting ready, it also restarted in an endless cycle.
This is a link to the failed software (https://support.hpe.com/connect/s/softwaredetails?language=en_US&softwareId=MTX_bf5521c396f2440bb0cb5efa87).
All i need is a smart start CD type of product so i can prepare the raid, and start the installation, it used to be built into the server, but now it no longer works so im not sure what to do. Any suggestion would be appreciated. This is a production server responsible for several very important roles which need to be recovered. We cant afford to replace the server at this time so i need to find a way to get it working again.

Re: Cannot reinstall DL380e Gem8 server with F10 intelligent provisioning
If IP does not launch as expected by pressing the F10 key during System POST, reinstall IP using a bootable USB Key. Instructions to create the USB Key with the IP image .

Hi,
>>Update the server BIOS/ILO firmware to the latest versions
>>Clear the nvram by using system maintenance switch (refer https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=emr_na-c03413095 page 92-93)
>>Check if intelligent provisioning is launching as expected by pressing the F10 key during System POST

>>If IP still not launcing even after reinstall the IP by using recovery media ,use the bootable array configuration utility(ACU) to create the RAID (create bootable USB by using offline ACU and boot from the usb key)
