Ethernet LAN not working correctly
I have a new DL160 Gen 10 with 3 SSD disk 960 GB in Raid 5 32 GB ram one internal ethernet Intel HPE 2 Port 361T and an add on Intel 2 port HPE 368I. The server support 2 VM one a domain Win 2019 the second a small SQL server. The VM are both Win 2019 with 8 GB of ram 5 virtual processor and each has his own adapter set as external adapter(not shared with the Hyper-v). So in total I have 1 adapter used for the Domain, 1 for the SQL, 1 for the Hyper-V server, 1 free ethernet adapter. All the driver result update to the last HP SPP(2021040) The Lan worked perfectly before with an older HP server all at 1Gb. Now with the new server the LAN lag big time both in user program like Outlook and in browsing the internal file server. The only solution I found to let the user work in a decent manner is to set the user ethernet adapter at 100Mb. In that way all the client can work in a fairly good. The LAN didn't change in any way, same switch, same cable and I installed a good number of other Hyper-V in other site without any issue. Actually I don't know what else to try, I deleted and recreated the Virtual Ethernet Adapter more than once without any kind of solution, changing the ethernet port used and the such, any suggestion?
Thanks in advance

Re: Ethernet LAN not working correctly
Hi Ivan,
I presume the DL160 G10 is not certified server for Hyper-V check the below link.
HPE ProLiant Gen10 Servers - Operating System Matrix
However, I can suggest to check the drivers for NIC and check Jumbo Frames can it solve the issue, the below link provides some insight on poor network performance though its for Broadcom NICs might help you
Poor network performance on virtual machines on a Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V host if VMQ is enabled
Thanks,

Re: Ethernet LAN not working correctly
Hi,
Thank you for the POST.
Could you please try to set the network speeds to 1Gb/s, and set the switches to Auto-Negotiation and check.
Thank you

Re: Ethernet LAN not working correctly
If you've got working Wi-Fi but your wired ethernet connection is not working, the first thing to do is turn off the Wi-Fi. ... If Wi-Fi is disabled and you're still not getting a network connection, make sure that ethernet is enabled in the same Network and Internet Settings section. Find the right network.
