Gen10 power suppoly firmware
Goodmorning ,
does anyone know how to update the Gen10 power supply firmware (not to be confused with the Power controller firmware)?
There is a firmware-powersupply-gen10powersupply-2020.08.03-1.1.x86_64.rpm
see https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=MTX_93f43eff1f55458d9875d0b693
but it is not recognized by SUM and so cannot be updated online or by a SPP iso.

Hello,
You have to follow the installation instruction in the given firmware link.
Installation:
To install the Smart Component, complete the following steps:
- Place the Smart Component in a temporary directory.
- Double-click on the Smart Component.
- Follow the directions given by the Smart Component.
- For systems with a single supply, reboot your system if you would like the update to take effect immediately.
If you feel this was helpful please click the KUDOS! thumb below!

Re: Gen10 power suppoly firmware
Hellom SanjeevGoyal ,
Update with SPP does not work, SUM does not discover or recognize this specific firmware.
